Marine reserves

I believe we should have more marine reserves in Northland.

Firstly  All sea life will be protected. No one will be allowed to fish commercially or otherwise. It will be illegal to take anything from the sea or beach because it will be protected by the government. People will not be allowed to throw their rubbish around or in the sea because it is protected. This will mean that all sea life will be able to survive. When rubbish is thrown in the sea our fish and  sea life began to get sick and to die and our oceans can easily become polluted. When our beaches are protected you can easily see that creatures lived and thrive without being disturbed and also with no pollution the water is crystal clear. This is how things have happened in a place called Kapiti Island Marine Reserve. Now because of their marine reserve they now have huge paua, kawari, moana, cushion stars, kuku, kotore and ngahihi.
